About us

We're on a mission to help individuals underserved by the beauty industry to find the best possible products and routines for them. And we have skin in the game.

Our founders, Kristin and Alex, have years of experience working in beauty and tech. They are also both eczema sufferers.

Kristin struggled with painful eczema patches across her arms, chest, neck and face, which flared during pregnancy but lasted for over a year. After steroid creams only worsened the eczema, she went on a mission to fix her skin without them.

Alex's eczema started after she had an adverse reaction to a product while travelling. Eczema flare ups on her hands have been a near-constant ever since.

Kristin and Alex shared the frustration that there was no easy way to figure out which products irritated their skin and which ones would improve their skin, but found the best recommendations came from other people like them.

Scrolling through their individually curated Instagram and Spotify feeds, they realised so many aspects of our lives have become personalised - but why not our most personal routines? So they decided to do something about it.
